Have you ever had an impromptu photoshoot that ends up being your favorite? I couldn’t believe it when I saw the first few photos. The lighting, the colors, the posing and composition… everything fit together perfectly, especially for a completely unplanned shoot.

Sam and I have been best friends since college, and we love shooting together for fun. We typically don’t plan our shoots, and this parking garage rooftop shoot was no different. Last minute outfit choices, not scouting the location beforehand- basically all of the things that you shouldn’t do when planning a photoshoot. But hey, that’s what friends are for! So, we drove up to the top of this empty parking garage and started shooting in 30 degree weather, and just made it as much fun as we could. It’s always fun shooting with friends, and what made it even more fun was that we were completely alone, so we could play music and be as obnoxious as we wanted. The results really showed, and this remains one of my favorite shoots to this day!
